Problem: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2021 911 Carrera and Taycan vehicles. The pressure input rod connection on the brake booster may be loose and could detach.

Risk: A detached pressure input rod will cause the brake pedal to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will repair or replace the brake booster as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 28, 2021. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AMB9.

I started my car and about one minute later I heard an explosion from the rear of the vehicle and saw it engulfed in flames.

Two separate instances of fuel line failure and fuel leak in the engine compartment. The first in March 2024 and the second in September 2025. The seat back release on both seats is very hard to pull. On the drivers side the strap broke free while attempting to exit and the seat would not release. This could be a safety danger in a crash when rear seat occupants would not be able to exit
