Air bagsCampaign 19V461000 · 14 Jun 2019Problem: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2015-2018 Granturismo and 2016-2018 Granturismo Convertible vehicles. The air bag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may have a defective power supply capacitor that can cause a deactivation or inadvertent deployment of the air bag.
Risk: A deactivated air bag increases the risk of injury. An inadvertent deployment of the air bag increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the air bag ECU, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin July 30, 2019. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 386.
Fuel system, gasoline — Hoses, lines/piping, and fittingsCampaign 15V849000 · 18 Dec 2015Problem: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain model year 2016 Granturismo and Granturismo Convertible vehicles manufactured September 1, 2015, to November 30, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a non-galvanized main fuel delivery line that may corrode and result in a fuel leak.
Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the main delivery fuel line, free of charge. The recall began on January 7, 2016. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 300.
Latches/locks/linkages — LatchCampaign 15V744000 · 10 Nov 2015Problem: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain model year 2016 GranTurismo and GranTurismo Convertibles manufactured June 24, 2015, to September 2, 2015. The affected vehicles were built with passenger side door latch components that were not heat treated.
Risk: If the door latch was not heat treated, in the event of a crash, the door latch may fail allowing the door to open, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger side door latch assembly, free of charge. The recall began on November 30, 2015. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 292.
